Project description:

“Ah Melania, each time entering a square, you find yourself in the middle of a dialogue.”

Italo Calvino

Like an invisible building that materializes in front of the eyes of the observers or like a lunar object that would intrigue passers, Invisible cities is conceived as a series of site-specific installations that focuses on the narrative of everyday life of Cetinje. The aim of the project is to invite and direct the observer to rethink the city in a completely different way, sending it on a journey, as intimate as common, which combines reality, figuration, abstraction and emotions. Through this project we want to influence the perception and memory of these objects by creating interactive, site-specific installation in old, abandoned buildings, located downtown, in the historical part of Cetinje.

Who can apply

The invitation to apply is open to all individuals and groups of artists living in Montenegro: visual artists, directors, architects, set designers and playwriters.
